History

History Pre Zombies Bart grew up in a loving home, where the deep affection between his parents was always evident. Despite their warmth, the Addington household was strict and regimented, following long-standing family traditions. With three older brothers and a younger sister, Bart was raised with discipline and high expectations. His parents believed in preparing all their children for the future, ensuring they learned practical skills alongside their education.

Everything changed in 2004 when his mother died in a tragic accident. Though the circumstances were unclear, the town was quick to cast judgment, whispering about her mistakes and the family's misfortune. The Addingtons, once respected, found themselves shunned by many in their community.

At sixteen, Bart was old enough to understand what was happening and despised the way it tore his family apart. Determined to escape the weight of scandal, he left home at eighteen and applied to any police force that would accept him. He ended up in London, which suited him fine—far from Devon and the ghosts of his past. More importantly, he was earning a living that might one day help him get his younger sister, Luna, away from their fractured home. But as time passed, it became harder to keep track of her. Eventually, she vanished from their aunt’s care altogether. Bart knew, though, that sooner or later, she'd return to familiar ground.

He embraced his new life with relentless energy, revelling in the structure and purpose it gave him. His instructors at the academy admired his sharp mind and quick reflexes, but his recklessness was a constant concern. Time and time again, he was warned that his aggression in training exercises would be his downfall. Still, he graduated at the top of his class, ready to take on the challenges of policing the city streets. Yet, once on the job, he quickly learned that being a London copper was nothing like he had imagined.
